RubyPlay increases US presence with Ocean Casino partnership
Online casino game developer RubyPlay has expanded its presence in the US via a collaboration with Ocean Casino Resort’s online platform, betOcean.com, in New Jersey.
The partnership means that many of RubyPlay’s slot titles will be available at betOcean, including J Mania, Lucky Pyggs, Immortal Ways Volcano, and Diamond Explosion 7s SE.
The agreement also includes the US debut of Egyptian Sun SE, which launched first at betOcean Casino and will gradually become available at other regional platforms in the coming months.
Additional releases, such as Mad Hit Devil and Immortal Ways Spooktacular, will follow as the two companies develop their partnership.
RubyPlay’s Chief Product Officer, Dr. Eyal Loz, described the launch as an important milestone in the company’s US expansion strategy, emphasizing the focus on providing distinctive gaming experiences.
“Launching Egyptian Sun SE with Ocean Casino Resort reflects the strength of our collaboration and shared focus on delivering tailored experiences that stand out in a competitive market,” he said.
Meanwhile, Ocean Casino Resort’s Vice President of Online Gaming Marketing, Ray Stefanelli, said, “Ocean Casino Resort is pleased to partner with RubyPlay, which brings a distinct style of content that aligns well with the betOcean platform, and has shown to be very popular with our online customers.”
This follows RubyPlay’s recent partnership with Rush Street Interactive to launch its slot games in Delaware.

The Backstory
Why Ocean matters in RubyPlay’s U.S. push
RubyPlay’s tie-up with Ocean Casino Resort’s betOcean.com is the latest move in a methodical U.S. rollout aimed at securing distribution with marquee operators while seeding localized titles in key states. The company has used New Jersey as a launchpad, then layered on additional partners and jurisdictions as content gains traction. Ocean brings brand reach and a growing online audience in Atlantic City’s home market, a useful on-ramp for exclusive and seasonal releases that can be syndicated to other platforms over time. The strategy hinges on two levers: curating slot lineups tuned for regional tastes and signing multi-operator agreements that accelerate placement without overreliance on any single channel.
That playbook has unfolded in quick succession since RubyPlay entered the U.S. this year. First came an anchor partnership in New Jersey. Then came additional operator integrations in the state and a cross-border move into Delaware, followed by a broad distribution deal to extend exposure in the U.S., Latin America and Europe. The Ocean launch fits that sequence by adding another New Jersey storefront where RubyPlay can debut content first, measure response and expand titles statewide and beyond.
A New Jersey debut set the foundation
RubyPlay’s U.S. entry began with a deal to bring a curated portfolio to BetRivers in New Jersey through Rush Street Interactive. The initial slate of five games was set to expand to 15 by late January 2025, with an eye to additional states on Rush Street’s map. The agreement provided immediate access to a large, data-driven operator that could test engagement and retention across titles and mechanics while clearing a regulatory path for future launches.
The debut also established RubyPlay’s approach to localization, headlined by branded or themed variants geared to regional audiences. Early placements included Go High Panda and Immortal Ways Sweet Coin alongside Diamond Explosion Patriots, signaling a willingness to tailor product identity to the market. Plans detailed in the announcement pointed to follow-on expansion through BetRivers in Pennsylvania and Delaware and potential entries in Michigan and West Virginia, setting expectations that the New Jersey beachhead would be leveraged into a multi-state footprint. Hard Rock added a second major stage in the state
RubyPlay moved quickly to deepen its New Jersey presence by adding Hard Rock Bet Casino. That pact put a broader mix of games in front of a distinct customer base and staggered a rollout of 10 additional titles after the initial tranche. The selection—featuring Diamond Explosion Patriots, Immortal Ways Diamonds SE and J Mania Loco Habanero—again leaned into localized branding and RubyPlay’s high-pace style, but also stretched into different volatility profiles to reach casual and experienced players.
Hard Rock’s footprint gave RubyPlay reach across a brand with national recognition and significant marketing muscle, important in a market where player acquisition costs can run high and shelf space is crowded. The integration diversified distribution beyond a single operator stack, reduced dependency risk and gave the studio more touchpoints to study performance by cohort and campaign. Details are in RubyPlay partners with Hard Rock Bet Casino to expand U.S. presence.
BetMGM signaled scale and multi-territory ambitions
The company followed with a partnership to put a slate of games live on BetMGM’s New Jersey online casino while positioning for broader North American distribution. Launch titles included Gummy Giga Match, Diamond Explosion Patriots, Mad Hit Wild Alice, Go High Panda and Immortal Ways Sweet Coin. Beyond the immediate market impact, the BetMGM deal indicated RubyPlay’s intent to move across operator networks and jurisdictions under a long-term framework rather than one-off placements.
BetMGM’s dual U.S.-Canada presence offered near-term expansion in Ontario and a runway for additional U.S. states as integrations progressed. That increased the likelihood of synchronized releases and faster content cycles, which can help a studio sustain visibility across busy lobbies. The agreement also raised the stakes on portfolio planning, since multi-territory partners expect a steady cadence with reliable performance. Crossing state lines into Delaware with Rush Street
While building out New Jersey, RubyPlay executed on the second leg of its U.S. plan: adding Delaware via Rush Street Interactive’s BetRivers. The move took the studio into a neighboring regulated market where RSI already operates, shortening go-to-market timelines and reusing proven content pipelines. Delaware players gained access to more than 20 RubyPlay titles, including Immortal Ways Diamonds SE, Diamond Explosion Patriots and Immortal Ways Buffalo, each pitched with localized themes.
The Delaware launch mattered for two reasons. It validated the multi-state thesis tied to RSI and gave RubyPlay a chance to test how localized branding travels across borders. It also supplied incremental scale that can improve the economics of continued content development. As the library widens, the studio can rotate seasonal and special-edition games across state lines to extend lifecycles and maintain lobby freshness. Aggregator reach broadens distribution beyond state lines
RubyPlay also struck a content deal with SkillOnNet to push its portfolio across the U.S., Mexico and Spain, with more markets to follow. SkillOnNet operates brands such as PlayOJO, SpinGenie and PlayUzu, and supplies white-label partners, giving RubyPlay an aggregator path that complements direct operator integrations. Titles like Diamond Explosion 7s, Immortal Ways Diamonds and Zeus Rush Fever are slated to go live in phases, starting in the U.S. and Latin America before moving into Spain as approvals allow.
The aggregator route widens the studio’s funnel and can smooth volatility in operator-by-operator sales. It also supports the company’s strategy to balance bespoke, state-focused releases with a core catalog that can be syndicated internationally. The deal followed RubyPlay’s Delaware expansion with RSI and underscores how the company is stacking distribution layers to reduce friction in new market entries. Taken together, these steps explain the stakes behind the Ocean Casino launch. RubyPlay is building share in a competitive New Jersey landscape by placing content across multiple storefronts, timing exclusive releases and using operator networks to springboard into new states and regions. The Ocean partnership adds another venue for first-to-market titles and reinforces a strategy focused on localized appeal, distribution breadth and a steady cadence of new games that can travel as the company widens its U.S. footprint.
