Philippine online gaming company DigiPlus Interactive is set to launch its online gaming products in Brazil in September.

DigiPlus Interactive is the operator behind BingoPlus, ArenaPlus and GameZone. The expansion into Latin America’s online gaming industry is a significant milestone for the company and will enable it to capitalize on Brazil’s growing igaming sector, which has been estimated at US$4.6 billion, according to a report by LCA Economic Consulting.

Speaking about the announcement, the founder of DigiPlus Interactive, Eusebio Tanco, said that the country was a key part of the company’s growth plan and that it represented a new opportunity.

Tanco said, “We are excited to bring world-class entertainment to new markets, bringing the strengths and expertise that we have established in the Philippines. Our entry into Brazil is part of our strategic expansion program to usher DigiPlus’ next phase of growth.”

The group plans to roll out a lineup of live casino games, slots, and table games, tailored for the local market. The launch will be supported by the company’s new upgraded tech infrastructure after its migration to Amazon Web Services.

According to DigiPlus, its Brazil country manager, Graham Tidey, is already in Brazil, leading a team with legal and cultural expertise.

Having achieved a strong market presence in Southeast Asia, DigiPlus has adopted an expansion strategy to enter markets in other regions.
