Betsson launches Atlético Nacional branded slot game

Global betting operator Betsson has launched football team branded online slot game Rey de Copas via its partnership with Colombian team Atlético Nacional.
Rey de Copas features customized symbols tied to the club’s identity and also offers a bonus feature that enables players to multiply their bet up to 100 times by landing five club symbols.
Through the partnership, which has been ongoing since 2024, Betsson and Atlético Nacional have attempted to expand football sponsorships in Colombia beyond traditional branding.
Betsson Colombia Managing Director Matteo Gerbino said, “Passion for football is at Betsson’s heart. That’s why our partnerships go beyond putting our name on a jersey. They’re about engaging fans, creating content, and working closely with clubs and ambassadors. With Rey de Copas, we built something unique with Atlético Nacional – an experience that celebrates the club’s legacy and brings Verdolaga fans even closer to their team.”
The game was launched with a live YouTube broadcast on 21 August 2025. The event featured former Atlético Nacional players Rene Higuita and Sergio Galvan Rey in conversation with actor and supporter Lincoln Palomeque.
Fans were also able to participate in raffles to win match tickets, jerseys, and signed footballs.
Colombia isn’t the only LatAm country in which Betsson operates. In February, the operator obtained a Brazilian gaming license and launched its online platforms in the country.
