The launch was facilitated through Aristocrat Interactive, with Yggdrasil’s Valley of the Gods among the first games available in the two US states. Caesars Entertainment plans to add additional Yggdrasil titles over the coming months.

The Head of Region LatAm and USA at Yggdrasil, Aurora Armaro, said, “Launching our first game in the United States with one of the industry’s strongest operators represents a major milestone for Yggdrasil. We see this partnership as the first of many opportunities to bring premium content to players across the North American market.”

Vice President of Online Gaming at Caesars Digital, Ricardo Cornejo Rivas, added, “This partnership reinforces our commitment to bringing players fresh and entertaining gaming experiences across our online casino platforms. We’re proud to introduce Yggdrasil’s innovative content to players in Michigan and New Jersey and look forward to building a strong and successful partnership together.”

The launch targets two of the US’s largest regulated online gambling markets. Michigan’s online casinos generated US$2.9 billion in revenue in 2025, up 32% from 2024. New Jersey’s online gaming operations also yielded US$2.9 billion in revenue for 2025, a yearly increase of 22%.

With Yggdrasil expanding its presence in Latin America earlier this year, entering these established US gambling markets ultimately positions the software developer within two of the fastest-growing regulated online gambling jurisdictions in North America.

The Backstory

Caesars builds a supplier pipeline for key iGaming states

Yggdrasil’s U.S. debut through Caesars Entertainment fits into a broader content strategy by Caesars Digital: use established regulated markets to expand the online casino catalog, then add differentiated titles across its core brands. The company’s online casino network has become a distribution channel for suppliers seeking scale in North America, with Caesars Palace Online Casino, Caesars Sportsbook & Casino and Horseshoe Online Casino repeatedly serving as the landing points for new game portfolios.

The Yggdrasil launch in New Jersey and Michigan follows a series of supplier integrations aimed at deepening Caesars’ slot and live casino offering. Those states are among the most important online casino jurisdictions in the U.S., giving studios a direct route to large player pools and giving Caesars more variety in markets where product depth can affect retention. For a supplier entering the U.S. for the first time, the operator relationship also lowers the commercial risk of launching in a market with complex licensing, compliance and platform requirements.

Caesars has used that same playbook with other studios. In Pennsylvania, the company recently expanded its content mix when Greentube launched its portfolio with Caesars Entertainment, including early access to Golden Roar Boom and Silver Lux Big Win Spinner. That agreement gave Caesars players in the state access to several Greentube titles while positioning the supplier for further U.S. growth through a major operator.

Content exclusives and branded games sharpen the pitch

Caesars’ recent online casino moves show a preference for content that is not merely additive but marketable. In Pennsylvania, the Greentube rollout included a planned Caesars-branded version of a Silver Lux title. That type of customization helps operators distinguish their apps in states where many competitors use overlapping game libraries from the same large aggregators and studios.

The same logic was visible in Caesars’ sports-branded slot strategy. The company launched NBA Triple Double Power Combo during the NBA playoffs, making the game available in New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Ontario through its main online casino platforms. The title, developed with Games Global, drew on Caesars’ partnership with the NBA and gave the operator a timely, event-linked product designed to appeal to basketball fans as well as casino players. The NBA-branded slot launch underscored how Caesars can use outside intellectual property and major sporting moments to refresh its casino lobby without relying only on conventional game releases.

That context matters for Yggdrasil. The studio is entering a U.S. market in which operators are competing not just on bonuses and brand recognition but on content visibility, personalization and recognizable themes. A launch title such as Valley of the Gods gives Caesars another established product to promote, while future additions could broaden the supplier’s exposure if early performance supports deeper integration.

North American expansion runs through a small group of markets

The choice of New Jersey and Michigan is significant. Both are mature regulated online casino markets with large revenue bases, established player behavior and a broad roster of licensed operators. They also serve as proving grounds for suppliers before wider U.S. expansion. Success in those states can support entries into Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Connecticut or future regulated markets, while weak performance can limit commercial momentum.

Caesars has been active across that same North American map. NetGaming, another iCasino supplier, recently expanded through a content partnership with Caesars Entertainment in Michigan, New Jersey and Ontario. That deal put titles including Wicked Wins - Fortune Picks, Zeus’s Thunderbolt 5000 and American Wonder Wheels on Caesars’ platforms. It also showed how the operator can bridge U.S. states and Canadian provinces for suppliers that want a broader regulated footprint.

Ontario is especially relevant because it has become a major North American online gambling market with a competitive private-operator model. By pairing Ontario with Michigan and New Jersey, Caesars can offer suppliers access to three large jurisdictions while maintaining a relatively focused launch plan. For Yggdrasil, the initial U.S. entry does not include Ontario, but Caesars’ recent supplier partnerships suggest that cross-border expansion remains a common pathway when content gains traction.

Live casino investment points to a wider digital strategy

Caesars’ supplier deals are part of a wider effort to make its digital casino products feel connected to its land-based casino identity. That effort was clear when the company opened a custom live dealer studio at Tropicana Atlantic City in New Jersey. The new live dealer studio at Tropicana Atlantic City was Caesars’ second live casino gaming facility and its first located inside one of its casino resorts.

The studio gave players on Horseshoe, Caesars Palace and Caesars Sportsbook & Casino online platforms access to live blackjack, baccarat and roulette, with tables branded around Caesars destinations. The inclusion of VIP high-limit blackjack extended a familiar casino-floor experience into the mobile channel. Evolution Gaming supplied the live casino technology, and the project was also positioned as an economic development boost for Atlantic City through new job creation.

This strategy helps explain why Caesars continues to add third-party slot portfolios alongside live casino investment. Online casino revenue depends on a mix of products serving different player preferences. Live dealer games can support table-game engagement and premium play, while slots provide high-frequency entertainment and a steady cadence of new releases. Supplier partnerships such as Yggdrasil, Greentube and NetGaming expand that slot pipeline, while the live studio reinforces Caesars’ brand equity from its physical resorts.

Corporate pressure raises the stakes for digital growth

The push to expand Caesars Digital is occurring as the parent company faces strategic and financial scrutiny. A possible change in control has placed Caesars’ assets, including its digital operations, in the spotlight. Tilman Fertitta made an offer to acquire control of Caesars Entertainment, while a potential rival bid tied to Carl Icahn emerged with debt financing discussions. The acquisition battle around Caesars Entertainment highlighted both the company’s debt burden and the importance of its growth businesses.

Caesars Digital has been one of those growth areas. The unit reported US$1.4 billion in revenue in 2025, up 21.1% year over year, and first-quarter 2026 net revenue rose 11.6% to US$374 million, according to the related report. Those figures make digital performance important to any investor assessing Caesars’ future. A stronger online casino product can support revenue growth, improve customer engagement across brands and strengthen the company’s position as online gambling expands in North America.

At the same time, competition is intensifying. Major sportsbook rivals have been exploring prediction markets, and online casino operators continue to fight for share in states where promotional spending, app design and game selection all matter. Caesars’ response has been to keep widening the content funnel, from branded NBA slots to live dealer tables and supplier portfolios. Yggdrasil’s arrival is another step in that effort, giving Caesars additional content in two high-value states while giving the studio a U.S. platform with an operator that has been actively building its digital casino identity.
