Sportradar to supply Brazilian Ministry of Sports with integrity services and training

Sports data technology firm Sportradar has signed an agreement with the Brazilian Ministry of Sports to provide sports integrity services in Brazil.
Sportradar and the Brazilian Ministry of Sports will start sharing information, with Sportradar reporting any suspicious activity found through its Universal Fraud Detection System.
Sportradar will also provide Ministry of Sports staff with education services to combat match-fixing, including monitoring and identifying suspicious betting activity. The training will also teach personnel how to investigate suspicious betting.
The first educational workshop, which will feature staff from the Ministry of Sports and the Ministry of Finance, is due to be held today (Thursday 15 May).
Sportradar Executive Vice President, Integrity and Regulatory Services, Andreas Krannich said, “Establishing this partnership with the Ministry of Sports is an important milestone in strengthening sports integrity in Brazil. As a global integrity leader, leveraging cutting-edge technology to prevent and combat match-fixing, we believe that protecting competitions requires coordinated action between the public and private sectors. Through this collaboration, Sportradar continues to reaffirm its commitment to a more transparent and safer sports environment for the athletes and all the stakeholders involved in Brazilian sport.”
It’s been just over a year since Sportradar opened its office in São Paulo, Brazil, and the company has continued expanding in the country since then.
In Q1 2025, the company signed a multi-year partnership with the Brazilian Volleyball Confederation and extended its agreement with the Brazilian Football Confederation.
