SBC keeps focus on LatAm with new SBC Summit Americas event
Gambling media and global events provider SBC is getting ready for its first ever combed SBC Summit North America and SBC Summit Latinoamérica event, SBC Summit Americas.
The event will take place in the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, from 13-15 May.
The North American-focused conference track will run for all three days of the event, while the LatAm conference track will be available on the final two days.
The first day of the LatAm track will feature sessions from experts discussing the Brazilian market, licensing from Caribbean territories and the crossover between Spanish and LatAm gambling. There also will also panels on gambling in the Andean region.
The second day will see panels on Peru’s licensing system and player protection in Brazil, while there will be sessions around player safety and responsible gambling.
“There’s still so much to learn about LATAM, and that will remain the case as regulations evolve and technology advances,” SBC CEO and Founder Rasmus Sojmark said in a statement. “A dedicated LATAM track is essential, allowing industry professionals to focus on regional trends and opportunities. While some companies operate in both regions, many are exclusively focused on LATAM and will benefit from tailored discussions. That said, I encourage our LATAM audience to explore the North American tracks as well — there’s a wealth of knowledge to be gained from both regions, which is precisely why we unified these events.”
