Pragmatic Play expands DoradoBet alliance with debut of live casino tool in Peru
iGaming supplier Pragmatic Play has deepened its collaboration with Peruvian online gambling site DoradoBet via an agreement to deliver its Smart Studio live casino features on the platform.
Smart Studio enables operators to customize elements of Pragmatic’s live casino games to produce bespoke environments showcasing their own brands.
Pragmatic Play already recently expanded in the region with the launch of a live casino studio in Bogota, Colombia.
The latest addition to the DoradoBet partnership will introduce branded live casino tables that fit DoradoBet’s existing visual identity. By integrating Smart Studio, DoradoBet aims to deliver more localized live dealer content.
Victor Arias, Vice President for Latin America at Arrise – the technology group powering Pragmatic Play, said, “Smart Studio continues to gain strong traction across Latin America, and this extension with DoradoBet reflects the increasing demand for customizable live casino environments. The solution enables operators to deliver more engaging player experiences, while also enhancing brand visibility in competitive markets.”
DoradoBet Peru Chief Executive Augusto Pflucker said, “This new chapter in our partnership with Pragmatic Play supports our strategy to build a standout live casino experience in Peru. Smart Studio gives us the tools to elevate our brand presence on the tables and deliver a more immersive product to our players.”

The Backstory
Why this partnership lands at a pivotal moment
Pragmatic Play’s decision to extend its collaboration with Peru’s DoradoBet by rolling out customizable live casino tables is the latest step in a Latin America playbook built on localized content, branded experiences and speed to market. The Smart Studio tool gives operators control over visual elements on live dealer tables, turning generic rooms into brand-forward environments that can drive higher engagement and retention. In a market where live dealer growth is outpacing other verticals and operators compete on differentiation, the ability to tailor felt designs, backdrops and UI at scale is a commercial lever as much as a creative one.
The DoradoBet update follows a series of moves designed to give Pragmatic Play more control over production and distribution in the region. The company has been laying the groundwork to deliver live content with local flavor, multilingual staffing and technology that lets operators dial in their own look. That approach positions Smart Studio not as a cosmetic add-on but as the surface layer of a broader infrastructure build-out in Latin America.
The timing also reflects intensifying competition across Peru and neighboring markets. With more regional operators pushing into live casino and regulators across Latin America refining frameworks, brand presence at the table has become a frontline asset. A bespoke live environment can nudge players to stay longer, increase cross-sell and lift loyalty metrics — advantages that compound when content is produced close to the market and delivered with low latency.
A regional production base designed for scale
Pragmatic Play has been investing in live operations that can supply those tailored experiences from within the region. The company opened a live casino studio in Bogota backed by a reported $15 million investment and plans to create up to 1,500 jobs, a facility that can support more than 100 tables hosted by Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking dealers. The studio, delivered with technology group Arrise, integrates layout and branding customization to cater to local audiences, underscoring a strategy that blends scale with localization. That milestone, detailed in Pragmatic Play expands LATAM presence with new operation in Colombia, gives the supplier a hub for rapid launches and operator-specific styling across multiple jurisdictions.
Producing from Colombia reduces operational friction for partners in Peru, Brazil and beyond. It also improves the feedback loop between operators and the studio floor, enabling faster iteration on table designs, languages and layouts. The Bogota site further signals confidence that live casino demand in the region will remain durable, with room to diversify into new game formats and game-show products. Pragmatic Play has suggested those show-style offerings could arrive in 2026, which would broaden the content mix that Smart Studio can customize.
For DoradoBet, closer-to-home production can translate to stronger uptime, lower latency and more straightforward compliance coordination. The cumulative effect is the ability to test and refine Peru-specific branding initiatives — from color schemes that mirror local sports clubs to limited-time table skins tied to national events — without long lead times or offshore bottlenecks.
Broadening the table games slate with poker
Customization carries more weight when the portfolio expands, and Pragmatic Play has moved to widen its live table lineup beyond the roulette and blackjack staples. The supplier unveiled its first live poker offerings with Casino Hold’em and Jacks or Better Draw Poker, both built to be configurable through Smart Studio. The games are positioned for fast-paced sessions and include a jackpot side bet that can pay up to 20,000x for specific hands, features intended to deepen engagement while giving operators new merchandising hooks at the table. The launch and roadmap are outlined in Pragmatic Play to launch its first live poker titles.
For operators like DoradoBet, poker-style additions present opportunities to segment VIP and casual audiences with differentiated rooms, distinct color palettes and promotional overlays. The ability to brand poker tables alongside blackjack and roulette ensures consistent visual identity across the lobby, while variability in side bets and pacing lets operators tailor game selection to time-of-day cohorts and local preferences. If Pragmatic Play follows through with additional live variants and show formats, the practical value of Smart Studio increases, since each new product becomes another canvas for the operator’s brand.
Distribution gains across Latin America
Localization only matters if content reaches players at scale. Pragmatic Play has been expanding its operator network in the region, adding partnerships that carry slots, live casino and virtual sports into more lobbies. A recent agreement with ApuestasX gives that operator access to headline slots such as Gates of Olympus and Joker’s Jewels, plus live titles including Bet Behind Pro Blackjack, according to Pragmatic Play signs deal with ApuestasX in LatAm. While the DoradoBet tie-up is focused on live casino customization, network growth via partners like ApuestasX extends the brand’s regional footprint and creates cross-promotion paths between RNG and live products.
The distribution strategy is iterative: secure regulated access where possible, line up operators with localized content needs, then lean on tools like Smart Studio to let those operators put their stamp on the live experience. That sequencing helps Pragmatic Play shorten the distance between product delivery and market resonance. It also spreads risk, as performance doesn’t hinge on any single operator or jurisdiction.
As more partners adopt the customization toolset, the supplier accrues practical knowledge about what on-table branding lifts session length, which UI tweaks reduce bounce rates and how local cultural markers influence betting patterns. Those insights can inform product updates across the network, including for DoradoBet’s Peruvian audience.
Sportsbook push adds a parallel growth track
Live casino is not Pragmatic Play’s only Latin America lever. The company secured certification to supply its sportsbook technology to operators in Brazil, a market that launched a fixed-odds framework in January 2025 and is scaling rapidly. The approval, detailed in Pragmatic Play awarded Brazil sportsbook certificate, enables the firm to offer pre-match and in-play markets, player props and bet builder tools, plus managed services such as trading and risk management.
That sportsbook track is reinforced by data partnerships aimed at deepening coverage. Pragmatic Play’s tie-up with OpticOdds will integrate real-time feeds for U.S. player prop markets across the NBA, NFL and MLB, as reported in OpticOdds partners with Pragmatic Play. While U.S. sports are not the core of Brazilian betting behavior, richer props portfolios and robust data infrastructure elevate the sportsbook’s overall competitiveness. For operators that carry both sportsbook and live casino, cross-selling becomes more potent when brand identity is mirrored across verticals — from customized tables to localized bet builders.
The convergence matters for DoradoBet’s peers in the region. A supplier that can underpin a branded live casino and a feature-rich sportsbook helps operators present a unified front end, streamline vendor management and reduce integration overhead. That, in turn, frees up marketing budget to drive acquisition in newly regulated markets like Brazil while nurturing retention in established ones such as Peru.
What to watch next
For DoradoBet, the Smart Studio rollout is a test of how far brand-forward tables can move the needle on engagement in Peru. Metrics to monitor include time on table, repeat visitation and conversion from RNG slots into live rooms. For Pragmatic Play, the near-term questions center on the ramp-up of the Bogota studio, the uptake of new poker titles and the speed of sportsbook deployments in Brazil.
Regulatory clarity will shape the next moves. Brazil’s framework has accelerated supplier investment, and any additional guidance on advertising, localization or data residency could affect roadmaps. On content, watch for the introduction of live game shows promised for 2026, which would add higher-production canvases for Smart Studio branding. Competitive dynamics are tightening, but Pragmatic Play’s combination of local production, customizable live environments and an advancing sportsbook suggests a more integrated proposition. If operator partners can translate that toolkit into differentiated experiences, the stakes extend beyond table aesthetics to market share across Latin America’s fastest-growing verticals.
