Pragmatic Play awarded Brazil sportsbook certificate

Igaming supplier Pragmatic Play has been certified to supply its sportsbook to operators Brazil.
The certification means that local operators can use Pragmatic Play’s sportsbook technology which includes pre-match and in-play markets, player props, bet builder tools, and data from official rights holders.
The platform also includes localized features designed specifically for Brazilian sports bettors. In addition, operators can access managed services such as sports trading, risk management, and 24/7 support.
This follows the launch of the country’s fixed-odds betting framework in January 2025, which established a regulated environment for sports betting, and which has led to a rapidly expanding betting sector.
Pragmatic Play Senior Vice President of Sports Gareth Crook described the certification as a major milestone and emphasized his company’s local commitment. “With Brazil shaping up to be one of the most dynamic regulated sports betting markets in the world, we’re excited to support operators in delivering a compliant, competitive, and engaging product to their players,” he said.
The approval builds on the company’s existing presence in the region obtained through its partnership with ApuestasX, which includes a portfolio of games and other content for the Latin American market.
