Playson goes live in Brazil
The Brazil Secretariat of Prizes and Bets has awarded casino games studio Playson a license to operate in Brazil.
The company will supply games to players through its partners Entain, Novibet, EstrelaBet, Superbet, and Betano.
Playson intends to launch its Hold and Win and Hit the Bonus series in the region.
Playson Chief Commercial Officer Tamas Kusztos said, “We are delighted to have successfully entered the Brazilian market on the first dates of January and look forward to building on our established LatAm reputation, with players across the region resonating strongly with our dynamic offering.
“It is a credit to departments across the entire Playson team who worked tirelessly to make this entry possible. Now it is time to ensure Brazilian players have access to some of the very best igaming content on the market.”
The move comes on the back of the company expanding its reach into LatAm through an agreement signed with Light & Wonder at the end of January. The deal also saw Playson games go live with Light & Wonder partners in the UK and Canada.
The Brazilian igaming market has been operational for over a month, having launched on January 1, 2025.
Dozens of operators and game studios have rushed to launch in the region. For example, Greentube recently penned a deal with Bet365 to launch its games Brazil.
