ESPN Bet, in collaboration with Penn Entertainment, has launched a new feature designed to merge fantasy sports with sports betting.

The update introduces a new ‘For You’ page that instantly imports users’ ESPN Fantasy rosters into the ESPN Bet app. Once accounts are linked, it creates a seamless experience between fantasy sports and betting.

This incorporation will let users see player insights, over/under props, and stats directly linked to their fantasy teams.

Aaron LaBerge, Chief Technology Officer and Head of Interactive at Penn Entertainment, said, “We’ve been focused on increasing the visibility of ESPN Bet across the ESPN ecosystem, such as showcasing odds in stories and box scores and expanding the availability of markets within the ESPN app to include player and game props. Now we’re extending that connectivity to the fantasy product with a really innovative feature, tapping into the massive ESPN fantasy userbase and streamlining the process for players to double down on their rosters with just a few taps.”

ESPN Bet has also introduced a ‘Fantasy Bet Builder’ feature, which allows users to build bets based on their fantasy lineups.

The announcement marks nearly two years of partnership between ESPN and Penn Entertainment, as the two continue to expand across the US-regulated market.

In January, ESPN Bet went live in Washington, DC, through an agreement with sports management group Monumental Sports & Entertainment.
