Through IC360’s integrity monitoring dashboard, the compliance firm can send DraftKings real-time alerts about any suspicious wagering or trading activity across its platforms, notifying the operator’s compliance team so it can take swift action against the perpetrator.

DraftKings can implement ProhiBet and ProhiTrade across its sportsbook and prediction market platform to ensure that athletes, coaches, trainers, and other officials are wagering on their own sports and to prevent insider trading in its sports event contracts.

To curb athlete harassment, DraftKings can also use IC360’s ProhiBetBA, which flags individuals who send abuse to athletes, coaches, or other staff over sports wagers and can either suspend or permanently terminate their accounts.

“DraftKings has always been an industry leader, and this agreement reflects the seriousness with which they treat integrity across all of their platforms,” commented Ali Schempp,Chief Commercial Officer of IC360.

“As consumer market offerings continue to expand, operators and exchanges need systems that work fluently across all verticals. IC360 was built for exactly this moment, and we are proud that DraftKings has chosen our full technology stack — Integrity Monitoring, ProhiBet, ProhiTrade, and ProhiBet BA — to uphold its platforms, and the athletes and fans who make this industry what it is. This is precisely the kind of forward-looking, comprehensive collaboration our industry needs. DraftKings isn’t just checking a compliance box — they are setting the bar for what integrity should look like at scale, and we look forward to working with them every step of the way,” he furthered.

The Backstory

Integrity tools move from sportsbook compliance to market-wide surveillance

DraftKings’ agreement with IC360 reflects a broader shift in U.S. sports betting oversight: integrity monitoring is no longer confined to traditional sportsbook wagers. Operators, leagues and governing bodies are preparing for a market in which sports bets, daily fantasy contests and event contracts can all create exposure to suspicious activity, insider information and athlete harassment.

The partnership gives DraftKings access to IC360’s integrity monitoring dashboard and a group of related compliance products, including ProhiBet, ProhiTrade and ProhiBet Bad Actors. The package is designed to flag unusual wagering or trading behavior in real time, block prohibited participants from betting and identify people who abuse athletes or team personnel after losing wagers.

That combination matters because DraftKings is operating across multiple consumer-facing products at a time when regulatory lines are changing. Sportsbooks have long been expected to monitor betting patterns and cooperate with leagues and regulators. Prediction markets, however, have introduced a different set of questions around event contracts, non-public information and how closely trading platforms should mirror sportsbook safeguards.

IC360 has positioned itself around that convergence. Its recent deals show a company moving from sports betting integrity into a wider role covering leagues, teams, emerging markets and digital trading products. DraftKings, one of the most visible U.S. operators, now becomes the highest-profile example of that strategy.

Prediction markets add a new compliance frontier

The key development behind the DraftKings deal is the expansion of integrity controls into prediction markets. IC360’s ProhiTrade product is meant to monitor event contract activity and prevent trading based on non-public information. That issue has grown more pressing as sports-related contracts have begun to resemble betting products in the eyes of leagues, operators and regulators, even when they sit in a different legal structure.

IC360 had already tested that approach with the Professional Golfers’ Association of America. The firm expanded its PGA of America partnership to include prediction markets ahead of the 2026 PGA Championship at Aronimink Golf Club in Pennsylvania. Under that deal, the PGA added ProhiBet and ProhiTrade to monitor betting and event contract activity tied to its championships.

The PGA’s rationale foreshadowed the logic now visible in the DraftKings arrangement. Sports organizations are concerned not only with whether athletes, officials or staff are placing illegal bets but also whether anyone with privileged knowledge could trade on information that is not available to the public. In golf, that could include player fitness, course conditions, lineup decisions or operational details around an event. In broader sportsbook and prediction market settings, the same concern applies across sports.

DraftKings’ use of both ProhiBet and ProhiTrade suggests compliance systems are being built to follow risk rather than product labels. If a user can profit from a sports outcome through either a wager or an event contract, operators need tools that can detect prohibited participation and suspicious timing across both channels.

Prohibited bettor checks become a common baseline

Before prediction markets became a larger part of the conversation, IC360’s growth was anchored by ProhiBet and its integrity dashboard. ProhiBet uses encrypted data-transfer technology to identify prohibited bettors while protecting sensitive personal information and operator data. The system is intended to stop athletes, coaches, officials and other restricted people from wagering on markets where they have access or influence.

That model has become a recurring feature in IC360’s commercial expansion. Betr, a daily fantasy sports and sports betting operator, partnered with IC360 to integrate its integrity monitoring dashboard and ProhiBet. The deal gave Betr real-time alerts for suspicious wagering and a compliance tool for jurisdictions with prohibited bettor requirements.

The Betr arrangement was significant because it showed that smaller and newer operators face the same compliance expectations as larger sportsbooks. The company framed the deal as a way to build a secure and transparent betting environment, while IC360 described it as part of a standard-setting process for a rapidly evolving market.

The same technology is now part of DraftKings’ broader compliance stack. The difference is scale. DraftKings’ user base, product range and regulatory footprint mean failures in prohibited bettor controls could carry reputational, competitive and regulatory consequences. A system that may have started as a league or operator safeguard is increasingly becoming infrastructure for the market.

Leagues and clubs respond as betting expands globally

IC360’s recent work with sports organizations shows why operators are under pressure to strengthen monitoring. Leagues and clubs are dealing with legal sports betting in more markets, new forms of fan engagement and growing concern that athletes or staff can be drawn into integrity risks even without direct match fixing.

The company added the PGA of America to its roster of partners through an agreement covering real-time alerts on global online sports bets and ProhiBet technology. That initial golf deal focused on wagering oversight and advisory support as the PGA navigated the U.S. and international betting environment.

IC360 then moved into other sports and jurisdictions. In Brazil, the firm signed an integrity agreement with Clube Atlético Mineiro as the country’s regulated sports betting market launched in early 2025. The Brazilian football club agreed to use IC360 monitoring services and ProhiBet to detect unusual betting patterns and prevent athletes, coaches and officials from betting.

That deal underscored how regulation can create immediate compliance demands. Brazil’s market opening made oversight a practical issue for clubs, not just national regulators or betting operators. Atlético Mineiro’s adoption of monitoring tools showed that teams themselves are becoming participants in integrity systems, especially in markets where football has deep cultural and financial significance.

IC360 also partnered with the World Surf League to monitor suspicious online wagering activity across global events. Surfing presents different risk characteristics than major U.S. team sports, including international time zones, dispersed competitions and niche betting markets. The common thread is the need for systems that can spot abnormal activity wherever regulated or gray-market betting interest emerges.

Athlete harassment becomes part of integrity oversight

DraftKings’ inclusion of ProhiBet Bad Actors points to another change in how the industry defines integrity. Monitoring once focused mainly on match fixing, prohibited betting and suspicious line movement. The rise of mobile wagering has made harassment of athletes, coaches and officials a compliance and player-protection issue as well.

When bettors can directly message athletes after losing a wager, the risk is no longer limited to the fairness of a contest. Abuse can affect athlete welfare, league relations and public confidence in betting products. By flagging individuals who harass sports personnel and allowing account suspension or termination, DraftKings is treating post-wager conduct as part of platform integrity.

That step also serves a business purpose. Operators depend on league partnerships, official data arrangements and continued political support for regulated betting. If athletes and coaches increasingly view wagering as a source of threats and abuse, leagues may push for tighter restrictions and lawmakers may revisit consumer access. Tools that identify abusive users can help operators show they are responding before regulators force more prescriptive rules.

The athlete harassment component is especially relevant for an operator of DraftKings’ size. A larger customer base increases the probability of misconduct, while public incidents involving professional or college athletes can quickly become national stories. Integrating harassment controls with wagering and trading surveillance gives DraftKings a clearer record of action when disputes arise.

DraftKings deal signals where compliance is heading

The DraftKings-IC360 partnership brings together several strands that have been developing across the industry. Betr’s adoption of monitoring tools showed operator demand for prohibited bettor compliance. The PGA’s expansion into prediction market oversight showed leagues preparing for event contracts. Atlético Mineiro and the World Surf League illustrated how integrity monitoring is spreading across sports and jurisdictions.

DraftKings now ties those themes into one commercial agreement covering sportsbook and prediction market platforms. The company is not only monitoring suspicious bets but also seeking to identify prohibited traders, block restricted participants and police user behavior directed at athletes and staff.

The stakes are high because the industry’s growth has outpaced public understanding of its safeguards. Regulators want evidence that operators can detect abuse in real time. Leagues want confidence that athletes and competitions are protected. Consumers need markets that are not distorted by insiders or suspicious activity. Operators need scalable systems that work across products without exposing sensitive data.

IC360’s appeal is that it offers a technology stack built for those overlapping demands. For DraftKings, the agreement is a way to show that its compliance framework is expanding with its product ambitions. For the wider market, it suggests that integrity oversight is moving toward unified monitoring across sports betting, prediction markets and user conduct, rather than separate controls for each vertical.
