Bragg Gaming invests in online gaming studio RapidPlay

Technology and igaming content provider Bragg Gaming has acquired an equity stake in specialist Brazilian game development studio RapidPlay.

The agreement includes exclusive commercial distribution rights for Bragg Gaming over RapidPlay games. Bragg Gaming will integrate RapidPlay games into its options available to its Brazilian partners like Betano, Novibet and Superbet.

Bragg Gaming has the option to acquire a controlling stake in RapidPlay in the future.

The companies also will develop new games using Bragg Gaming’s Fuze technology, which features gamification and player retention tools.

“This partnership with RapidPlay is more than just an investment — it’s a strategic move that strengthens our differentiated local content proposition,” Neill Whyte, Chief Commercial Officer at Bragg Gaming Group, said. “The studio combines creative excellence with operational efficiency, making it an ideal partner for our expansion efforts in the region.”

Bragg Gaming placed significant importance on the Brazilian market in this announcement, estimating the market could be worth up to US$1.5 billion in 2025, citing figures from H2 Gambling Capital, and that it could account for 10% of the company’s annual revenue.

That estimate also figures that Brazilian revenue could increase to $3.7 billion by 2029. The Brazilian igaming market launched on January 1 with Bragg Gaming going live in the country on 7 January.
