BetMGM and Better Collective to sponsor new Playmaker HQ shows
BetMGM has partnered with affiliate Better Collective to sponsor two shows under the Playmaker HQ banner, developing its presence in sports and casino content.
The deal makes BetMGM the offering sponsor of the Roommates Show, hosted by New York Knicks teammates Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart with longtime friend Matt Hillman.
The latest season kicked off on September 6 with a block party in Central Park, which drew thousands of fans and included appearances from actor Ben Stiller and former quarterback Eli Manning.
The weekly podcast, one of Playmaker’s most watched, has recorded more than 2.5 million viewing hours.
BetMGM also signed on as sponsor of No Limit, a new blackjack-themed show led by former NBA player Iman Shumpert. Filmed at a casino, the 12-episode series syndicates card play with athlete storytelling.
Guests pause during key blackjack moments to revisit past comments in the ‘Double Down’ segment, while ‘Aces Only’ highlights career milestones when a branded ace is drawn.
Playmakers HQ Chief Executive Matt Schwimmer said, “‘No Limit’ is the next step in our evolution as we expand into casino content with the All In brand. It combines entertainment, personality, and unfiltered conversation in a way that truly connects with fans.”
BetMGM has also recently created a custom-branded game for TV’s The Price is Right, a first in the show’s 54-year history.
