BetGames gets approval for Brazil launch

Live dealer and online slot developer BetGames has received approval from the Secretariat of Prizes and Bets to launch in the Brazil igaming market.
While BetGames notes in its press release it is best-known for its live casino and game show titles, it will start in Brazil by launching slot games, including Citrus Splash, Candy Coins and Crypt of Giza Deluxe. The studio will also launch the tap game Penguin Rush.
The company launched RNG slots in January, going live with four games, and has a plan to release 50 games by the end of the year.
“Securing certification in Brazil is a crucial step in our global expansion strategy,” Chief Product and Business Development Officer at BetGames Ian Catchchick said in a statement. “We are thrilled to bring our expanding portfolio of RNG games and much of our established gaming experiences to this dynamic market. Having established a strong track record with our live dealer products, we’re confident that our unique approach to game development will be well-received by Brazilian players and operators. This entry into Brazil highlights our commitment to growing our presence in key regulated markets and delivering innovative content that stands out.”
The Brazilian market has seen several notable software developers receive approval since going live on 1 January, including Play’n GO and Games Global.
