Global gaming supplier AGS recently debuted Bonus Spin Xtreme online in an exclusive partnership with Rush Street Interactive in the US and the rest of the Americas. This marks the first time the progressive platform and several of its linked games are available online for real-money play.

AGS’ BSX is the first concentric wheel progressive released for online table games.

The online progressive is based on AGS’ land-based progressive platform Bonus Spin Xtreme, a table game progressive system.

Debuting at land-based casinos in 2020, the BSX platform solution links all table games – from blackjack and poker to roulette and baccarat– to a single, floor-wide progressive jackpot meter. It features high-incrementing jackpots and community-style wins.

The system just passed 1,000 installations at land-based casinos across the US, and seven-figure jackpots have been awarded.

“With the success of BSX on the land side, we are confident we can bring the casino floor excitement and big-win potential of traditional progressive games to the online space,” AGS Senior Vice President and General Manager of Tables John Hemberger said in a statement. “The familiar wheel action, growing jackpots and shared anticipation are all central to the BSX experience, and we’re excited to give online players a new way to be part of that energy.”

In an exclusive partnership with BetRivers and PlaySugarHouse through the end of 2026, players in Michigan, New Jersey, Delaware, and West Virginia, and the Canadian provinces of Ontario and Alberta, can play five exclusive BSX online games. The titles include Blackjack Double Deck;the 2026 Eilers & Krejcik Gaming award-winning Blackjack Single Deck; Blackjack Side BetsAmerica’s Blackjack; and War.

The blackjack games feature five unique side bets, and the BSX feature increases action by giving players the chance to trigger a wheel spin for multiplied payouts, and to potentially unlock the Power Up wheel for a shot at one of two jackpots.

“This is another example of the dynamic initiatives that we’ve been able to accomplish having Rush Street Interactive as a close and strategic partner over the years,” said AGS Vice President of Interactive Zoe Ebling. “We are thrilled to be at the forefront of debuting a product like BSX online to the industry via BetRivers’ award-winning platform, and our commitment to bridging physical and digital play in ways that drive real player engagement.”

Within the first month of release, the progressive jackpot is over six-figures on BetRivers Casino.

“Bringing Bonus Spin Xtreme online reflects what drives everything we do: making players our first priority by giving them more ways to play and enjoy their experience,” said Rush Street Interactive CEO Richard Schwartz. “With the jackpot already topping six figures in the first month, players clearly agree, and we’re proud to partner with AGS as the exclusive online home for these games.”

The Backstory

Land-based mechanics move deeper into digital casino

AGS’ online debut of Bonus Spin Xtreme with Rush Street Interactive sits inside a broader shift in U.S. igaming: Suppliers are increasingly trying to move proven casino-floor products into regulated digital markets without stripping away the features that made them work in the first place. The strategy is not simply to port a game from a cabinet to a phone. It is to recreate the anticipation, pace and familiarity of land-based play in a format that can scale across states and provinces.

That has become a central theme for AGS Interactive, which has spent the past year building its position around omnichannel launches, regulated market expansion and content that already has name recognition with casino players. The company’s latest move is notable because Bonus Spin Xtreme is not a single slot title or a standard table-game side bet. It is a progressive table-game platform that links multiple games to a shared jackpot experience, a model that had been developed and validated on casino floors before being offered for real-money online play.

The timing reflects a maturing online casino market in which operators are looking for differentiated content rather than larger catalogs alone. In states such as New Jersey, Michigan, West Virginia and Delaware, online casino players already have access to extensive libraries of slots and tables. Products that can create a communal jackpot event, or give land-based players a familiar reason to try an online account, offer suppliers and operators a way to stand out.

AGS has been building an omnichannel case

AGS’ current push follows months of positioning around omnichannel execution. At SBC Summit Americas, company executives argued that the term had become overused across the sector but said AGS was measuring it through performance and activations rather than marketing language. In a prior interview, the company said it had completed eight omnichannel launches across different markets and jurisdictions, including one involving 30 simultaneous property launches in Alberta. The message was that digital and retail should not operate as separate funnels but as connected parts of the same player experience.

That approach matters for Bonus Spin Xtreme because the platform is rooted in the table-game environment. On casino floors, progressive meters and shared wins can create visible energy around games that otherwise play individually. Moving that mechanic online requires more than copying math and graphics. It requires giving players a reason to recognize the feature, understand the potential prize and connect it to a broader casino experience.

AGS executives have also framed the company’s interactive growth as selective rather than volume-driven. In a report on AGS’ omnichannel strategy at SBC Summit Americas, the company said it was tailoring launches around partner goals such as digital conversion, VIP crossover and in-property traffic. That context helps explain why an exclusive partnership with Rush Street Interactive gives Bonus Spin Xtreme a defined launch path instead of a broad, undifferentiated release across every available operator.

Rush Street brings a regulated-market platform

Rush Street Interactive is a logical launch partner because its BetRivers and PlaySugarHouse brands operate across several regulated online casino markets and have leaned heavily into player experience and retention. The company has presented itself as disciplined on emerging products, including prediction markets and sweepstakes-style gaming, while emphasizing sustainable growth in regulated igaming. That posture aligns with AGS’ own stated preference for regulated markets over gray-market shortcuts.

Rush Street’s recent performance also shows why exclusive content matters. In a third-quarter outlook report on Rush Street Interactive, the company cited strong igaming retention and player value, along with revenue growth in key markets including Delaware, Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Ontario. Those are precisely the kinds of jurisdictions where exclusive casino content can influence engagement and product differentiation.

The partnership also reflects the economics of online casino growth. In mature markets, operators compete through product depth, loyalty systems, user experience and recognizable games. A progressive table-game feature that is exclusive through the end of 2026 gives Rush Street a content lane it can market across multiple jurisdictions. For AGS, the arrangement creates a controlled test of whether a floor-wide progressive table system can replicate its appeal online, where player attention is more fragmented and competition is one tap away.

Regulated U.S. expansion set the foundation

AGS Interactive’s broader market expansion helped set the stage for a more ambitious platform launch. The company has been adding content in U.S. states where online casino is legal, often starting with recognizable titles and then expanding its portfolio. In West Virginia, AGS Interactive expanded through Betly, a Delaware North brand, bringing its digital casino catalog to the operator’s mobile platform. That launch included titles such as Rakin’ Bacon and 3x Ultra Diamond, reinforcing the company’s strategy of using established land-based and digital brands to deepen its online footprint.

The West Virginia deal, covered in AGS Interactive’s launch with Betly, underscored the importance of smaller but fully regulated online casino markets. West Virginia is one of the few U.S. states that permits both online sports betting and casino gaming, making it valuable for suppliers that need live-market experience and operator relationships. Bonus Spin Xtreme’s availability in West Virginia through Rush Street gives AGS another chance to test online table-game progressives in a state where it already has broader interactive ambitions.

AGS also entered Connecticut with an initial slate of three games: Capital Gains, Blazing Luck and Dragon Fa. The company called that rollout its sixth regulated U.S. market entry. In its Connecticut market debut, AGS said it planned to introduce more of its interactive portfolio over time and pointed again to the way land-based hits translate online. That sequencing illustrates a deliberate buildout: enter regulated markets with slots, establish distribution and then layer in more specialized products such as linked progressives and table-game features.

Classic casino formats are being reworked for mobile

The Bonus Spin Xtreme launch also mirrors a wider industry effort to modernize traditional casino formats for online play. In slots, the same debate has played out around steppers, the classic reel games associated with simple mechanics, recognizable sounds and casino-floor nostalgia. Executives from IGT, AGS and Light & Wonder recently discussed how stepper slots can move online while preserving the traits that made them durable in retail casinos.

In a roundtable on bringing stepper slots online, AGS Vice President of Online Game Development Brant Frazee said the genre’s strength lies in straightforward mechanics and familiarity. The same principle applies to table-game progressives. Players do not need a highly complex feature if the appeal is clear: make a qualifying wager, trigger a bonus event and chase a visible prize. The challenge is to adapt presentation and pacing for mobile and desktop screens without losing the immediacy of a physical table or machine.

That balance has commercial stakes. Online casino lobbies are crowded, and suppliers must compete not only with one another but with player habits shaped by fast-loading slots, live dealer games and promotional offers. Familiar mechanics can lower friction, while progressive jackpots can provide an event-driven reason to return. For operators, those qualities support retention. For suppliers, they create recurring visibility in markets where new-game pipelines are increasingly important.

The stakes for AGS and the category

Bonus Spin Xtreme’s online launch is therefore more than a product extension. It is a test of whether a land-based table-game progressive can become a scalable digital category. AGS has already pointed to more than 1,000 land-based installations and seven-figure jackpots as evidence of retail demand. Online, the early six-figure jackpot on BetRivers provides an initial signal that players understand the proposition and are generating liquidity.

If the product performs, it could strengthen the argument that omnichannel gaming is most effective when it moves recognizable experiences across channels rather than treating online as a separate content universe. It also could give table games a more prominent role in online casino innovation, a space often dominated by slots and live dealer products.

For Rush Street, the exclusive window offers differentiation in competitive igaming states and provinces. For AGS, it advances a strategy built around regulated expansion, partner-specific launches and the conversion of land-based credibility into digital performance. The larger question is whether other suppliers will follow with more linked, communal and jackpot-driven table products online. If they do, Bonus Spin Xtreme may be seen less as a one-off launch and more as an early marker in the next phase of casino-floor mechanics moving onto digital platforms.
