The Wyoming Gaming Commission has published a warning about websites offering casino gambling products.

The warning, aimed at residents and visitors to the state, concerns igaming websites and apps that provide online slots, table games and poker. Although online sports betting and daily fantasy sports are legal in Wyoming, igaming is not.

According to the Wyoming Gaming Commission, multiple unregulated operators, mostly based offshore, have been targeting residents, many of them using sites that appear to be legitimate. In some cases, these sites display fake Wyoming addresses.

“We want to make it unequivocally clear: no online casino, igaming, or sweepstakes site is licensed by the Wyoming Gaming Commission, and they are all operating illegally in Wyoming,” Nicholas Larramendy, the Executive Director of the Wyoming Gaming Commission, said in a press release. “We strongly encourage everyone to avoid these websites; however, patrons who choose to engage with these unlicensed platforms do so at their own risk.”

The Wyoming Gaming Commission also has reiterated that it cannot provide support in the case of disputes with these sites, and has advised people to check the official Wyoming Gaming Commission website if they need further information about the legitimacy or legality of any gambling site.
