White Hat Studios’ deal with Gaming Arts opens US casino opportunities

Online game developer White Hat Studios has inked a distribution deal with technology supplier Gaming Arts, opening it up to US omnichannel opportunities for the first time.
The distribution deal will enable White Hat Studios to launch its gaming content at casinos across the US, marking its first venture into the retail sector. A number of Gaming Arts’ land-based games will also launch online.
The first White Hat Studios game to be rolled out at US casinos, Big Catch Bass Fishing, has proven to be a hit, and other titles, including Bankin’ More Bacon and Kong Even Bigger Bananas, are expected to be released soon.
White Hat Studios Chief Executive Officer Andy Whitworth hailed it as a landmark moment for the company. “We look forward to introducing White Hat Studios’ hit titles to a whole new audience and showcasing the omnichannel appeal of our games to the wider industry,” he said.
At the start of the year, White Hat Studios became one of the top three US casino game suppliers based on gross gaming revenue. It was also reported earlier this year that parent company White Hat Gaming was considering a sale of its development arm, but there has been no further comment.
