The United States Igaming Revenue Report – July 2025

An overview of igaming revenue in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, West Virginia, Delaware, and Rhode Island, the seven states where online gambling is legal in the US.
National
Total igaming revenue for July 2025 in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, West Virginia, Delaware, and Rhode Island added up to US$817.6 million compared to US$623.4 million in July 2024.
1. Michigan
Internet gaming in Michigan in July earned US$250.5 million, the third time the state has gone over a quarter-billion. That compared to US$191.4 million in July 2024.
Michigan’s 15 online casino operators paid US$49.2 million in igaming taxes compared to US$36 million. Detroit’s three commercial casinos tendered US$12.1 million to the state and the native casinos ponied up US$6.1 million to their tribes, which set a record for the month.
2. New Jersey
The igaming win in the Garden State reported by casinos and their partners in July 2025 was US$247.3 million compared to US$195.4 million in July 2024. That set a new record for monthly revenue, beating the previous one of US$246.8 million set in May. It was the fourth consecutive month that New Jersey online casinos generated more than US$230 million.
New Jersey collected US$48.9 million in online-gambling taxes in July 2025 compared to US$29.4 million year over year.
3. Pennsylvania
Pennsylvania’s online casino games generated US$228.2 million in July compared to US$174.3 million last year.
Tax revenue generated from July igaming in Pennsylvania totaled US$67.4 million compared to US$57.3 million in July 2023.
4. Connecticut
Connecticut’s two main online casino operators, DraftKings and FanDuel, in July earned US$47.9 million from igaming as compared to US$35.7 million in 2024.
Igaming earned Connecticut US$8.6 million in taxes for the month compared to US$6.3 million last year.
5. West Virginia
The Mountain State’s igaming revenue in July 2025 was US$29.2 million, more than double July 2024’s US$14.4 million. It was also West Virginia’s third highest igaming total on record for a month.
6. Delaware
Delaware igaming generated US$9.4 million in July compared to US$5.2 million year over year, continuing the juggernaut of Rush Street Interactive’s icasino.
Online video lottery (slot) games once again accounted for the lion’s share of income at US$6.8 million, while table games generated US$2.5 million.
7. Rhode Island
Rhode Island’s online casinos, monopolized by Bally’s, earned US$5.1 million in July; that was more than double July 2024’s US$2.3 million in gross igaming revenue.
