The United States Igaming Revenue Report – February 2025

An overview of igaming revenue in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, West Virginia, Delaware, and Rhode Island, the seven states where online gambling is legal in the US. 

National 

Total igaming revenue for February 2025 in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, West Virginia, Delaware, and Rhode Island (estimated) added up to US$711 million versus last year’s US$620.2 million. 

1. Michigan 

Michigan’s online casinos generated US$209.1 million in February 2025, up from US$188 million in February 2024, but down more than 10% from the record set in January of US$248.2 million.

Michigan’s 15 online casino operators paid US$42.3 million in total taxes compared to US$46.6 million year over year; US$26.1 million went to the state, US$11.5 million to the city of Detroit, and US$4.7 million to the 12 tribal governments. 

2.  New Jersey 

The internet-gaming win in the Garden State last month was US$207.8 million compared to last year’s US$182.3 million. It was the third time that igaming revenue beat brick-and-mortar GGR (US$203.5 million) in a month in New Jersey. 

Borgata/BetMGM scored with US$50.7 million in win compared to US$40 million, followed by Golden Nugget (FanDuel) with US$49.7 million compared to US$51.2 million and Resorts (DraftKings) at US$44 million versus US$48 million. 

New Jersey collected its 15% internet gross revenue tax of US$33 million compared to US$27.5 million in February 2024. 

3. Pennsylvania 

The Keystone State registered US$207.6 million in igaming GGR compared to US$184.9 million in winnings in February 2024, a 12.3% increase.  

Hollywood Casino at Penn National led with US$77.6 million, followed by Valley Forge at US$56.6 million and Rivers Casino Philadelphia at US$34.2 million.   

Pennsylvania collected US$91.8 million in igaming taxes for the month. 

4. Connecticut 

Connecticut’s two online-casino operators earned US$51.9 million in igaming revenue in February versus US$43.7 million year over year.  

DraftKings (Foxwoods) and FanDuel (Mohegan Sun) paid their 18% in taxes (after deducting promotional spend up to 15%) to the Constitution State, a total of US$9.3 million compared to last year’s US$6.7 million. 

5. West Virginia 

West Virginia’s online casinos generated US$24.9 million, the second highest monthly record and US$7.5 million more than last year’s US$17.4 million. 

West Virginia hosts eight online-casino operators: BetMGM, FanDuel, and Golden Nugget (on the Greenbrier license); PointsBet (Hollywood Casino), DraftKings (Charles Town); Caesars and BetRivers (Mountaineer); and Betly (Mardi Gras). Together they paid US$3.7 million in gaming taxes versus US$2.6 million in February 2024. 

6. Delaware 

Delaware’s February igaming revenue was US$6.6 million compared to US$3.9 million year over year.  

Online video lottery (slot) games once again accounted for the lion’s share of income at US$4.4 million, while table games generated US$2.2 million.  

7. Rhode Island 

Rhode Island’s igaming revenue, monopolized by Bally’s, generated US$3.1 million in January, down from US$3.6 million in December. (Rhode Island reports in the first week of the second month, so February’s number will show up in April). That brought January’s total igaming revenue in the seven states to US$761.8 million. For February in Rhode Island, we’re estimating the same as January: US$3.1 million.
