Online lottery courier Lottery.com has rebranded as SEGG Media Corporation, closing the door on years of scandal while launching a new growth strategy focused on sports, entertainment, and ethical gaming.

The new name, Sports Entertainment Gaming Global, or SEGG, Media, comes with a shift toward three core areas, sports.com for immersive sports media, an entertainment vertical featuring live events and AI-powered streaming, and Lottery.com as an “ethical gaming engine” for international lotteries and igaming.

SEGG Media Corporation Chairman Matthew McGahan said, “This is a generational moment. SEGG Media isn’t just the end of a chapter – it’s the birth of a next-generation business. We’re ready to compete with giants, with sharper tech, a youthful fan base and ethical values at the core. To every shareholder who stood with us – thank you. The turnaround is complete. The mission begins now.”

The rebrand aims to move past the company’s troubled history. Lottery.com has faced accusations of falsified financial reports, mismanaged courier operations that printed hundreds of thousands of out-of-state tickets, and a 2023 Monaco yacht party for executives even as the company was on the verge of bankruptcy.

Legislators in Texas also banned courier services after the company’s involvement in a bulk ticket sale to a syndicate that rigged the US$95 million prize in the 2023 Lotto Texas fraud.
