Rhode Island online gaming revenue hits nearly US$3 million in November

The Rhode Island Lottery revealed its revenues for online casinos, land-based gaming, and sports betting in November 2024, showing that online casinos collected over US$2.7 million. That’s the lowest figure in FY 2025 since the over US$2.5 million generated in July 2024. Comparatively, online casinos in Rhode Island collected US$3.2 million in October.
Net gaming revenue fell in November despite the state seeing more wagers, with players spending US$79.7 million at online casinos. In October 2024, gamblers spent just US$75.1 million. Slot spending dropped month-on-month in November, but table game wagers increased by over US$5 million.
Still, bettors walked away with more prizes, with the lowest net gaming revenue for table games in FY 2025 of over US$640,000. Rhode Island became the seventh US state to legalize online casinos in March 2024.
Meanwhile, land-based table game revenues hit US$11.6 million, the highest mark of FY 2025. All three operators collecting table games revenues hit financial year highs, with Twin River Tiverton bringing in the most at over $9.6 million.
State-wide revenues tipped just over US$5 million on the sports betting front thanks to a sports betting handle of over US$50.6 million. The sports betting handle was marginally higher than the US$49.4 million handled the month prior, but revenues were far higher, rising from US$2.1 million.
However, the US$5 million in November was not as high as the US$5.2 million generated in September 2024 from a handle of US$43.6 million.
