Relax Gaming appoints Angela van den Berg as General Counsel
Online gaming supplier Relax Gaming has appointed Angela van den Berg as its new General Counsel.
Van den Berg has advised online gaming companies for over 17 years and will now join the Relax Gaming leadership team during a period of significant change.
Prior to her new role, she worked as the Chief Legal Officer for Games Global – formerly known as Microgaming.
In this position, she played a key role in setting up the group and establishing its legal strategy, which Relax said confirmed her reputation as an industry leader.
Relax Gaming Chief Executive Martin Stålros emphasized what she would bring to the company’s leadership team, saying, “We are delighted to welcome Angela to Relax Gaming. She brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the executive team and I look forward to working with her as she reinforces Relax Gaming’s commitment to strong legal responsibility and compliance.”
In addition to managing Relax Gaming’s legal strategy, Van den Berg will continue as the Chair of Love Tech, a charity that mentors and inspires new generations of women in STEM.

Relax Gaming entered the US in December 2023 via a transactional waiver in New Jersey and a partnership with BetMGM.
