PrizePicks receives responsible gambling accreditation from the National Council on Problem Gambling

Daily fantasy sports operator PrizePicks has successfully completed the National Council on Problem Gambling’s Internet Compliance Assessment Program, making it the first daily fantasy sports operator to earn the accreditation.
The Internet Compliance Assessment Program is an independent review of gambling operators’ responsible gambling practices. It measures markers of work culture, staff training, and consumer protection through customer support.
The program also tests Know Your Customer protocols, responsible gambling tools, and regulatory compliance.
All of these are tested by the National Council on Problem Gambling’s Internet Responsible Gambling Standards.
Director of Programs at the National Council on Problem Gambling Jaime D. Costello said, “We are proud to recognize PrizePicks as the first daily fantasy sports operator to receive iCAP accreditation. This achievement highlights their unwavering commitment to player protection and promoting positive play, setting a new benchmark for excellence in the industry.”
PrizePicks works with several responsible gambling organizations in the US, including offering mental health services from Kindbridge Behavioral Health.
PrizePicks also receives advice on improving its responsible gambling from gambling harm prevention organization Epic Global Solutions, with staff receiving training from the company.
PrizePicks Chief Executive Mike Ybarra said, “This certification is a powerful recognition of the culture we’ve built at PrizePicks, and an incredible honor that underscores our unwavering commitment to putting player safety first. I want to extend my sincere thanks to the NCPG for their thorough evaluation, and to our exceptional team for setting the bar as an industry leader in responsible gaming.”
