PrizePicks announced as Houston Astros official fantasy sports partner
PrizePicks has been appointed official daily fantasy sports partner for MLB team, the Houston Astros.
The deal is a multi-year arrangement that includes online promotions, as well as branding at the Houston Astros’ home stadium, Daikin Park.
PrizePicks promotional material will be displayed prominently around the stadium, including rotational and static signage. The operator will also feature on the Houston Astros Radio Network through sponsored segments.
Based in Atlanta, PrizePicks is one of the biggest fantasy sports companies in the US and operates in 46 states.
Speaking about the deal, the Houston Astros’ Vice President of Corporate Partnerships, Matt Richardson said, “We are thrilled to add PrizePicks as an official Astros partner. PrizePicks continues to invest in Major League Baseball and is committed to engaging fantasy sports fans in both a responsible and fun way.”
As part of the deal, PrizePicks will also work with the Houston Astros on a promotion related to Monday home games. Fans will be given the chance to win a free PrizePicks lineup worth US$10,000 and tickets to future games, linked to the Nike City Connect brand.
