Pennsylvania igaming revenue rises 33.8% year-over-year in May

Pennsylvania igaming revenue hit US$232.9 million in May, a year-over-year rise of 33.8% compared to last year’s figure of US$174.1 million.
According to figures published by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, the bulk of that combined revenue came from slots, which produced US$177.2 million, or a little more than 76% of the total. Table games revenue was US$52.9 million (22.7%), and online poker generated US$2.8 million (12%).
Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course was the biggest revenue generator, reporting US$90.1 million in igaming revenue, rising 38.4% from US$65.1 million.
The largest percentage rise in revenue came at the Mohegan Pennsylvania, which showed a 98.5% increase year-over-year from US$1.1 million to US$2.2 million. The Golden Nugget jumped 86%, generating US$7.4 million in May.
Only three of the casinos in Pennsylvania showed a fall in revenue from last May. Revenue at Bally’s Pennsylvania fell from US$4.3 million to US$3.1 million, a 28% decline, while Mount Airy Casino Resort recorded revenue of $3 million this year, down from US$4.1 million in 2024, a year-on-year drop of 27.5%.
Wind Creek Bethlehem dropped 2.8%, declining from US$1.9 million to US$1.86 million.
