Parimatch becomes UFC’s official sportsbook in Asia

UFC, the world’s largest mixed martial arts organization, has partnered with international sports betting platform Parimatch, which will become the UFC’s official sportsbook and betting partner in Asia.
The collaboration began on 22 March at UFC Fight Night: Edwards vs. Brady at the O2 in London. Parimatch branding was visible inside the Octagon and on UFC-branded content during the event.
Parimatch branding also will be seen at other UFC events, and the operator will engage with UFC fans across the UFC’s digital and social media channels.
“Today we start off a new era in the Parimatch partnership with UFC, built on the same strong values we share in serving UFC fans worldwide and delivering unforgettable moments,” Parimatch owner Sergei Portnov said in a statement. “We’re excited to be back, ready to create even greater experiences for fans with the opportunities that lie ahead of us.”
The UFC has more than 700 million fans and about 300 million social media followers across various platforms. By utilizing the UFC’s media, Parimatch will be able to reach more than 17.5 million users in Asia.
“Parimatch has been a trusted partner and we are thrilled to extend this collaboration to Asia,” Kevin Chang, Senior Vice President and Head of Asia for UFC, said in the statement. “Their support is instrumental in our efforts to give local athletes the opportunity to compete in the Road to UFC tournament and ultimately help them realize their dreams of making it to UFC. Together, we are driving the growth of our sport and delivering world-class experiences to fans across the region.”
