New Jersey online casino PlayStar announces advisory board

New Jersey online casino operator PlayStar has revealed a new advisory board to oversee its operations in New Jersey while looking at opportunities to expand into other US states.
The board has six members: Alison Digges, Carl Sottosanti, Jai Maw, Richard J. St. Jean Gray, John Finamore, and Terrance Gray.
These members have broad experience across various sectors, including online gambling operators like Entain and land-based casino operations like Penn National Gaming and Caesars Entertainment.
Peter Ekmark, Chief Executive Officer at PlayStar (pictured), said, “At PlayStar, we’re incredibly proud of the significant strides our brand has made in the New Jersey market. Breaking into the state’s top 10 in 2024 is a true testament to how far we’ve come.
“That said, we’re not content to rest on our success – our goal is to continue building on this momentum and become a leading force in the industry, not only in New Jersey but across North America. The creation of our Advisory Board will help us achieve this by leveraging the collective expertise of five highly talented individuals from the casino and hospitality sectors.”
PlayStar’s online casino launched in New Jersey in October 2022, focusing on providing localized casino content to players in New Jersey. For example, the igaming platform became the official partner of the local NHL franchise, the New Jersey Devils, in 2024.
The operator made several other moves to improve its casino in 2024, including adding games from Play’n Go and RLX Gaming in August.
