New Jersey igaming revenue leaps by 27.3% in March

New Jersey online operators saw a 27.3% increase year-on-year in igaming revenue in March.
Authorized games generated US$241.3 million (up 23.9% on March 2024) and peer-to-peer gaming produced US$2.5 million in revenue (up 8.9% on last year).
According to the New Jersey Division of Gaming, FanDuel continued to lead the way in revenue, recording a little over US$52 million, widening the gap ahead of second-placed DraftKings, which recorded US$49.5 million in March.
Both operators saw a year-on-year revenue increase of over 20%, but of the major brands, third-placed BetMGM recorded the most significant rise of 42.8%, taking revenue for March 2025 past the US$31.5 million mark.
However, not every gambling brand in New Jersey had a successful month. The biggest loser was Monopoly, the new name of Virgin Casino, which rebranded in November. Its revenue dropped from US$1.8 million to US$1.2 million, declining 36.3%.
Tropicana Casino also lost ground, losing revenue at a rate of 25.9% and dropping outside the top ten revenue generators in the state.
New Jersey legalized igaming in 2013 and is one of the three biggest states in terms of gambling revenue, along with Pennsylvania and Michigan. Four other states have legal online casino gaming: Connecticut, Rhode Island, Delaware, and West Virginia.
