The Michigan Gaming Control Board has continued its crackdown on illegal gambling sites this week as six platforms were served with cease and desist orders.

Bonus Blitz Casino, DomGame, Royal Ace Casino, Slots Capital, Supernova Casino, and Wins Mania were all found to have been operating in Michigan unlawfully. They must now cease operations in the state or face legal repercussions.

“This action sends a clear message to illegal operators: Michigan is not a place for rogue gambling,” said Michigan Gaming Control Board Executive Director Henry Williams.

This move comes in the wake of the 14 cease and desist orders issued in May to illegal gambling websites and shows the state’s commitment to safe gambling.

“These illegal operators often masquerade as legitimate gaming platforms, but they exist entirely outside the legal safeguards that protect consumers,” Williams added.

The offshore casino sites were found to be in breach of Michigan’s Lawful Internet Gaming Act, the Michigan Gaming Control and Revenue Act, and the Michigan Penal Code.

Michigan residents who wish to gamble are encouraged to use only state-approved sites. Likewise, the Michigan Gaming Control Board urges residents to remain vigilant of illegal sites and report any suspicious activity they may be aware of to the regulator.
