Michigan igaming up 9.3% month-on-month in March

Online gaming in Michigan totaled US$293.5 million in gross receipts, up 9.3% from February’s US$268.5 million.
The Michigan Gaming Control Board regulates igaming operators in the state. Combined gross receipts represent the revenue generated from igaming and online sports.
Out of US$293.5 million, US$260.5 million was online gaming revenue, up from US$222.5 million generated in February 2025. March’s revenue marks the highest total since January 2025, which set the record of US$248.2 million produced in gross receipts.
Yet, compared to online gaming, online sportsbooks were down in March. There are currently 11 regulated online sports betting platforms in Michigan, including BetMGM, Fanatics Sportsbook, FanDuel, Caesars, DraftKings, BetRivers, ESPN Bet, Play Gun Lake, Eagle Casino & Sports, FireKeepers, and Four Winds.
Gross receipts for online sportsbooks dropped from US$46 million to US$44 million month-on-month, while adjusted gross receipts declined by 46.4% month-on-month, to just US$14.6 million in March.
However, monthly sports betting handle increased by 25.1%, rising from US$379.8 million to US$475.1 million month-on-month.
