Michigan gaming regulator sends cease-and-desist to online offshore operator

The Michigan Gaming Control Board has sent cease-and-desist letters to Curaçao offshore operator Alistair Solutions NV, which is operating two online casinos in the state without a license.
Lucky Tiger Casino and Rich Palms Casino violate state gambling laws by offering players various casino-related games, such as slots, table games and video poker.
“The Michigan Gaming Control Board will continue to make it clear that any operator found to be operating unlawfully will face appropriate consequences,” Michigan Gaming Control Board Executive Director Henry Williams said in a statement. “This agency has zero tolerance for illegal gambling. We will continue to exercise our regulatory oversight and authority to protect the interests of Michigan citizens and licensed operators and ensure that all online gambling activities available here are compliant with the law.”
Lucky Tiger Casino and Rich Palms Casino have 14 days to cease operations in the state. The Michigan Gaming Control Board said failure to comply would result in legal action as the regulator works with the Michigan Attorney General’s Office.
