Michigan online casinos collected over US$244 million in gross receipts in December 2024, collecting US$219.6 million in igaming adjusted gross receipts.

Both figures are record highs since Michigan launched online casino gaming in January 2021.

The previous gross receipts record was the US$226 million collected in November 2024. The adjusted gross receipts record was also set in November, with December’s adjusted gross receipts marking an 8% increase. Adjusted gross receipts also grew by 34.5% year-on-year in December.

The revenue increase was powered by BetMGM and FanDuel, which became the first Michigan online casino platforms to hit monthly gross receipts above US$60 million. The record-breaking month produced $45.9 million in taxes from igaming.

In terms of adjusted gross receipts, Michigan was only behind New Jersey in the U.S. in December.
