MGM Resorts International and its igaming joint venture with Entain, BetMGM, are working together to provide resources to support and enhance problem gambling research.

As part of this commitment, BetMGM will expand its Kindbridge Behavioural Health referral program across the US, ensuring that it covers all online jurisdictions in which BetMGM operates.

The extension of the gambling referral program will enable BetMGM users to have access to specialized mental health services. Senior Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer at MGM Resorts, Stephen Martino, said, “As a global gaming and hospitality leader, we are always looking to support innovative and actionable research that can make a positive impact.”

Rhea Loney, BetMGM’s Chief Compliance Officer, said, “Expanding our partnership with Kindbridge ensures that essential support services are always within reach for those who need them.”

MGM Resorts and BetMGM are also expanding their outreach to include responsible gaming messaging, including a ‘time-out’ feature from its GameSense platform on online and retail sportsbooks.

QR codes will also be available to users to access responsible gaming tips and resources.

Lastly, BetMGM and MGM Resorts will also engage with University of Nevada Gaming Law students to provide teaching sessions regarding responsible gaming.
