Lottery.com wins three lawsuits in Texas

Online lottery ticket purchase platform Lottery.com has scored three positive results in the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas – Austin Division.

According to a Lottery.com news release, over the first three months of the year, the court has motioned to dismiss Carl Wells v. Lottery.com, Brandon Marsh v. Lottery.com and Ryan Peterson v. Lottery.com. In all cases, the case was brought against the Sports.com brand operated by Lottery.com.

Wells and Marsh sued Lottery.com for employment-related claims. Wells served as Vice President of Information Technology and Marsh worked as Vice President of Product and then Executive Vice President, Product. Both claim they have not been paid full salaries since July 8, 2022.

Details of the Peterson case are not yet available to the public.

The Clerk of the Court was directed to close the cases and terminate all pending deadlines, hearings and motions.

The court gave the final judgment for the last case, Peterson v. Lottery.com, on 27 March.
