Light & Wonder sees igaming revenue rise 9% to US$81 million in Q2

Supplier Light & Wonder has reported that its igaming division saw revenue climb 9% in the second quarter, from US$74 million to US$81 million.
The department also saw AEBITDA increase by 17% to US$28 million from US$24 million at the same time in the previous year.
The supplier’s consolidated revenue fell 1% to US$809 million in the second quarter of 2025. However, net income rose 16% to US$95 million, from US$85 million year-on-year.
The company also experienced an increase in its consolidated AEBITDA for the second quarter, from US$330 million in 2024 to US$352 million.
Revenue from the first half of the financial year was also positive, with earnings rising 7% from US$148 million to US$158 million year-on-year.
The company’s social games division, SciPlay, saw revenue decline by 2% year-on-year in the second quarter, falling from US$205 million to US$200 million. For the first half of the financial year, revenue for SciPlay also saw losses, dropping from US$411 million to US$402 million.
However, SciPlay’s AEBITDA increased in the three-month and six-month periods. The second quarter saw an increase of 6% from US$70 million to US$74 million year-on-year, and the first half of the financial year generated a 5% increase, from US$132 million to US$138 million.
Prior to its earnings results, Light & Wonder also debuted its Wizard of Oz – Follow the Yellow Brick Road slot game, a second installment in the series, in June in collaboration with entertainment group Warner Bros.
