IGT retains AAA MSCI ESG rating for two years in a row

International Game Technology PLC has earned an “AAA,” the highest possible MSCI Environmental, Social and Governance rating for the second year in a row.
The company scored well in governance, product safety and quality, carbon emissions and labor management categories. International Game Technology is a global igaming software and hardware provider that was founded in 1975.
“IGT achieving the MSCI AAA ESG rating for a second year in a row validates our ongoing sustainability efforts and reaffirms our status as an industry leader in this space,” Wendy Montgomery, International Game Technology Senior Vice President of Marketing, Communications and Sustainability. “This AAA rating from MSCI recognizes the success of our Sustainable Play initiatives and serves as motivation to continue valuing and protecting our people, advancing responsibility, supporting our communities and fostering sustainable operations.”
The MSCI Environmental, Social and Governance ratings were created in 1999 and aim to measure a company’s exposure to environmental, social and governance risks and how well it manages these risks.
