IGT PlaySports extends partnership with Boyd Gaming in Nevada
IGT and Nevada-based gaming and hospitality group Boyd Gaming Corporation have signed a three-year extension to their sports betting technology agreement.
Under the renewed deal, IGT’s PlaySports platform will continue supporting Boyd’s online and retail sports betting operations across Nevada through August 2028.
IGT Senior Vice President of Sports Betting Joe Bertolone said, “IGT PlaySports looks forward to continuing our close partnership with Boyd Gaming in Nevada for three additional years and helping them engage players across channels in the most mature, competitive sports betting market in the US.
“IGT PlaySports continues to invest in and grow our footprint in Nevada. The performance, reliability and scalability of our technology stack and self-service betting technologies ensure our customers benefit from the most comprehensive B2B solution in North America.”
The partnership between the two companies began in 2018 and has grown gradually alongside the evolving US sports betting market.

In recent news, IGT’s online gaming studio, IGT PlayDigital, announced the launch of its Mega Vault engagement tool, with online operators Fanatics Casino, FanDuel Casino, and Rush Street Interactive participating in the launch.
