Hong Kong-listed International Entertainment Corp (IEC) is preparing to launch a fully self-operated online gaming platform at its LaVie Resort & Casino integrated resort in Manila, expanding its presence in the Philippines’ online gaming market beyond its existing partnership with DigiPlus Interactive Corp.

The new platform, to operate under the name LaVie Resort & Casino Manila, will offer remote play of physical casino games, RNG-based online casino games and sports betting to domestic customers in the Philippines. Described as IEC’s Phase Two Online Gaming business, it is expected to commence operations in mid-to-late November 2026, with the group retaining full ownership and operational control.

IEC’s Phase Two business is, it explained in a Friday filing, solely owned by the group, which will also develop, control, operate, manage and maintain the relevant gaming software systems, games, technologies and online gaming platform. Similarly, all operational facilities, hardware and equipment required for the conduct of the Phase Two business – including gaming tables, slot machines and online gaming equipment – will be provided, operated and maintained by the group.

The business will be certified by GLI or other gaming testing laboratories accredited or recognized by PAGCOR, IEC added.

The offerings on the LaVie Resort & Casino Manila platform will include remote play of physical table games and slot machines located within a designated area at LaVie Resort & Casino in Malate, Metro Manila. IEC explained that the group has already established the necessary infrastructure, including human dealers, an online gaming system and game aggregation technical support.

Online table games located within the designated area for remote play are listed as Commission Baccarat, Super 6 Baccarat and Tiger Baccarat, among others.

The group’s RNG-based online games will include online slots, table games, poker, bingo and arcade games, the latter described as games offering an entertainment or skill element.

IEC will also offer bookmaking or sports betting services, with bookmaking to be arranged by New Coast Leisure Inc (NCLI), the subsidiary that holds the group’s online gaming licenses.

In a previous announcement following the launch of the Phase One business, the group explained that it saw entering the online business as an opportunity to “broaden the Group’s revenue base, improve operational scalability and create new growth drivers for the Group.”

LaVie becomes one of several Philippine land-based casino operators to have launched an online arm, but one of only two doing so internally, alongside Solaire.

Others such as Newport World Resorts, Okada Manila, Hann Casino Resort and NUSTAR Resort Cebu have launched their online platforms in partnership with platform provider PhilWeb Corp.
