Gaming compliance consultancy IC360 has partnered with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to expand its gambling education program.

Josh Ercole, Executive Director of The Council on Compulsive Gambling of Pennsylvania, said, “As gambling availability and participation continues to increase in Pennsylvania, so does the number of individuals who are experiencing problems. Expanding resources to address these issues on a wider scale is vital, and partnerships with organizations like IC360 assist in achieving this goal.”

The partnership between Pennsylvania and IC360 will allow college-aged individuals at NCAA Division I, II, or III institutions, including any junior or community college, to receive education on problem gambling and the risks associated with gambling online.

The program also includes the tools and resources needed to help emerging student-athletes better understand their relationship with all types of gambling and avoid developing a harmful relationship with online gambling.

Scott Sadin, IC360 Chief Operating Officer, said, “This partnership marks a pivotal moment for IC360 and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. It is a privilege to have the opportunity and access to provide our Education Program to a wider audience than ever before.”

IC360 recently expanded its reach with US igaming platforms by partnering with online sports betting and daily fantasy sports provider Betr. The agreement allows Betr to use IC360’s integrity monitoring dashboard to help prevent suspicious wagering activity.
