Hard Rock Digital launches Playtech live trivia experience in New Jersey

Hard Rock Digital has teamed up with Playtech to launch a dedicated trivia experience on the Hard Rock Bet platform in New Jersey.
Since the start of their partnership in 2024, Playtech has provided a wide range of gaming content through Hard Rock Bet, including slots, card and table games, and live dealer games.
Playtech’s Live Trivia game show is a quiz-based segment, hosted by game show presenters, that invites players to participate in scheduled trivia promotions, answer questions, and win prizes.
Hard Rock Digital Casino Vice President Rich Criado told COMPLETE iGAMING: “Live Trivia provides that type of calendared entertainment that we think players will look forward to and engage with on a regular basis – just like a trivia game they may play at their neighborhood restaurant or watch on tv.”
The show is streamed live via Playtech’s platform, having been fully customized by Hard Rock Digital in terms of design, themes, and language. The operator can also create tailored prizes, including Golden Chips and Free Spins, which can be awarded individually or distributed among winners.

“For the current generations – Boomers, Gen X, and Gen Y – familiarity remains a key priority. These players have embraced live dealer games as an integral part of their entertainment experience, and they’ve successfully adapted to the industry’s transition from desktop to mobile platforms. However, Doubilet points out that younger generations, such as Millennials and Gen Alpha, are approach gaming differently. Because they haven’t had prior exposure to traditional casino slots, their entertainment choices are shaped by social media, streaming services, and influencer-driven content. To compete for their attention operators need to provide more interactive and engaging digital experiences.

Criado said the game has been developed in deep collaboration with Playtech, creating an experience that is fully aligned with Hard Rock’s existing brand and values.
