From the iGaming Hub to prediction markets: G2E 2026 preview
The Global Gaming Expo (G2E) returns to The Venetian Expo in Las Vegas, running 28 September to 1 October. Online gaming executives will find a dedicated iGaming Hub, a new zone for business technology and a late-added main-stage panel on prediction markets. “Education” begins 28 September, with the exhibition floor opening the next day.
The iGaming Hub will host online gaming sessions and networking on the show floor. G2E Event Vice President Korbi Carrison said in an interview with CiG sister company CDC Gaming that the show has changed along with the industry. “They come to learn, they come to connect,” she said of attendees.
Online gaming and technology
The education program includes a 28 September session on how igaming teams use AI to fight fraud and automate work. A Sept. 29 session will look at using behavioral data to grow player value while reducing risk and staying compliant. Sessions on deposit risk and identity in gaming payments follow 30 September.
On the exhibition floor, the new Business Solutions & Tech Zone will bring together companies offering AI, data analytics, cybersecurity, payments and customer relationship management tools. The zone is designed for integrated resorts, but its focus on security, payments and customer data also makes it relevant to online operators.
Prediction markets
G2E has also added a main-stage panel, at 1pm on 29 September, on the regulated gaming industry’s response to prediction markets. American Gaming Association President and CEO Bill Miller will moderate “A United Front: Confronting Prediction Markets Together” with UNITE HERE President Gwen Mills, Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation Chairman Rodney Butler and US Rep. Steven Horsford. The discussion will consider how commercial gaming, tribal leaders, labor and policymakers can coordinate legal and public-policy strategies as litigation and jurisdictional disputes continue.
Prediction markets also appear elsewhere in the education program. A 28 September session will address regulatory oversight and integrity; another on the following day will compare compliance, oversight and risk across casinos and prediction markets.
Digital products on the floor
IGT plans to preview Wheel of Fortune Frenzy, its first live-dealer igaming experience, as part of a display spanning land-based games and technology.
Galaxy Gaming will showcase its table-game portfolio alongside digital content licensed for live-dealer and random-number-generator platforms. The company says its titles are available on more than 5,000 igaming sites worldwide and drew more than 4.5 billion online wagers over the past year.
Konami’s G2E lineup also includes online slots, among them Money in the Bank and Diggin’ Bros., alongside its land-based games and systems.
