First and Genius Sports announce extended data partnership

Sports betting operator First and sports data company Genius Sports have extended their data and streaming partnership as both companies attempt to extend their revenue growth across sports betting markets.
Under the renewed agreement, Genius Sports will continue providing live data and streaming services to First, and the operator will increase the distribution of Genius Sports content across its network, with a particular focus on Brazil and Latin America.
First’s sportsbook platform in the region includes coverage of Brazil’s Serie A and B, Campeonato Paulista, Mexico’s Liga MX, and top-flight leagues in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Uruguay, Ecuador, Bolivia, and Paraguay.
First also will become Genius Sports’ official betting partner, while Genius will recommend First to operators seeking fully managed sportsbook solutions.
“We have been working with Genius Sports for many years, and I am delighted to be extending and deepening our relationship with such an industry leader,” Tom Light, First CEO, said in a news release. “First – Best in Sports and Genius Sports represent the gold standard in their respective fields and the new agreement will enable us to continue growing revenues for Genius Sports as we launch new partners and expand our network. We look forward to providing the most complete and data-rich solution to sports betting operators in the world’s fastest-growing markets.”
