FanDuel unveils responsible gaming initiatives for Problem Gambling Awareness Month

As part of Problem Gambling Awareness Month, online sportsbook operator FanDuel is launching responsible gaming initiatives for bettors.
Last year, FanDuel launched the Trusted Voices program, which was designed to provide adults, including parents, guardian, and coaches, with the resources to talk to young people about gambling and its risks.
This month, FanDuel will provide additional resources to the program, including content co-developed by the Responsible Gambling Council and Kindbridge Behavioral Health. It also will promote various digital advertising campaigns to raise awareness of underage gambling.
FanDuel also helped to amplify Gambling Disorder Screening Day on its social media channels by showcasing the telehealth counseling and support services available from Kindbridge Behavioral Health.
FanDuel also has pledged to donate US$150,000 to the National Council on Problem Gambling, which will fund non-profit organizations across the US that help prevent problem gambling and an additional US$150,000 donation to the International Center for Responsible Gaming.
As part of FanDuel TV, FanDuel has aired its first episode of “The Comeback with Craig Carton,” highlighting stories of those who have experienced gambling addiction and recovery.
“FanDuel remains steadfast in its commitment to leading the industry in responsible gaming, and we are proud to introduce industry-first content and programs designed to destigmatize problem gambling and offer education on responsible play,” Cory Fox, FanDuel’s Senior Vice President of Public Policy, said in a statement.
