FanDuel online sportsbook launches in Puerto Rico
FanDuel Sportsbook is launching its online sports betting platform in Puerto Rico.
The operator has opened a retail sportsbook through a partnership with CAGE Puerto Rico II in San Juan, which players must visit and register at before using the online sports betting platform.
Since May 2018, FanDuel has launched its services in 24 states and U.S. territories. Anyone 18 or older in Puerto Rico, including tourists and visitors to the country, can register with the platform and place real-money bets. Players can use the online sportsbook anywhere within the borders.
FanDuel has outlined some of the betting features it is bringing to Puerto Rico, including its Sports Betting 101 guides for new bettors. Additionally, the site highlighted it was the first U.S. sportsbook to introduce same-game parlays, which will be available in Puerto Rico. FanDuel also will bring its Pulse newsletter to this new market.
Other features the sportsbook will introduce include 24/7 customer support, cash-out and its personalized My Spend dashboard, which lets players view their stats and spending patterns.
