Vouris has over 17 years of experience across the gaming industry and previously served as Chief Operating Officer for esports betting operator Unikrn, which was acquired by Entain in August 2021.

Before that, he held several senior roles at Australian operator Tabcorp, and his experience includes serving as General Manager of the Luxbet brand and Deputy Chief Operating Officer for Wagering and Media.

In his new permanent role, Vouris will be responsible for Entain’s operations in the region, which include the Ladbrokes and Neds brands.

Entain Chief Executive Stella David said, “Andrew stood out as the right leader for Entain ANZ. His leadership as Interim CEO has demonstrated his commitment to our people, our partners, and to building a sustainable, compliance-led, and customer-focused culture.”

Vouris added, “I am grateful for this opportunity and the responsibility that I have been given. My priority is to embed a ‘win, but not at all costs culture’ and get back to the basics of selling bets.” The new position comes after several Entain executives stepped down from their roles after the company was taken to federal court by AUSTRAC for anti-money laundering violations.
