2026-11-03Powered by CMG CurrenShift through the first nine months of 2026 is inclusive of fair value gains from International Entertainment Corporation’s (IEC) convertible bonds, with improved cost efficiency more than offsetting lower revenues amid the weaker macroeconomic environment.
Likewise, a four-percentage point improvement in EBITDA margin to 22% “reflected more effective deployment of advertising and promotional spending, optimization of direct gaming costs and tighter control of operating expenses.”
On its NGR after tax, DigiPlus noted that it began reporting this metric in 2Q26, which deducts PAGCOR’s regulatory share and fees, game provider fees, marketing and promotional expenses, payment channel fees, other direct gaming costs and applicable taxes from gaming revenues. By doing so, it said NGR after tax provides a clearer measure of the revenue retained after direct gaming costs and taxes, complementing GGR as an indicator of operating performance.
“Our first nine months performance reflects the progress we are making in strengthening operating efficiency while building our user base and content,” said DigiPlus President Ping Chen.
“We remain focused on sustainable growth through self-development of compelling content, stronger user acquisitions and retention, and disciplined spending on A&P and investments. Our average monthly active bettor and depositor (MABD) continues to grow and our user retention cohort continues to improve.”
DigiPlus added that it has in recent months continued to expand its digital entertainment portfolio and strengthen its localized content offerings. Through a partnership with Regal Entertainment, DigiPlus also brought the iconic Shake, Rattle & Roll film franchise to iGaming, launching five new titles on BingoPlus and with ArenaPlus and GameZone to follow.
The company also introduced nine new self-developed games across its platforms, including live games such as Bingo Speed and Live Mines, and specialty random number generator (RNG) games Beto Beto and Pinoy Drop Ball International.
