Delaware igaming revenue up 131% YoY

Delaware igaming net revenue hit more than US$7.8 million in January 2025, an increase of over 131% compared to January the previous year.
Net revenue also increased compared to December 2024, when online casinos only generated US$7.6 million.
There are three igaming operators in Delaware, with Delaware Park adding US$3.8 million to the total pot, accounting for over 49% of the total. Delaware Park’s revenue increased by almost 98% year-on-year.
While Delaware Park saw US$72 million spent on online table games compared to US$56 million on video slots, table games only produced revenues of US$1.5 million compared to US$2.3 million from slots.
The other two online casinos, Harrington and Bally’s Dover, added US$2.3 million and US$1.5 million, respectively.
While revenues increased significantly year-over-year, the number of new registrations fell. In January 2024, Delaware Park saw a state-high 16,397 registrations. Meanwhile, in January 2025, the online casino only attracted 2,176 new customers.
State-wide registrations fell from 24,703 to 4,146 year-on-year. The January 2025 registrations are Delaware’s lowest figure since August 2024.
Since January 2024, when BetRivers went live as the Delaware Lottery’s exclusive partner, Delaware gaming revenue has jumped considerably.
Previously, 888 Holdings operated online gambling in Delaware through an agreement with the Delaware Lottery.
BetRivers runs online platforms for all three casino operators in Delaware and has significantly increased its range of games since its launch. At the start of February, the brand partnered with Play’n Go to launch the software developer’s games in Delaware.
