Bloomberry launches online gaming platform in the Philippines
Philippines integrated resort operator Bloomberry Resorts has launched a new online gaming site featuring free movie streaming.
Bloomberry Chief Executive Enrique K. Razon revealed in May that Bloomberry would be entering the Philippines online gaming market, launching a digital platform nationwide.
The new gaming platform, dubbed MegaFUNalo, includes a range of games and free streaming of movies produced by the movie studio Viva. It is currently in a soft launch phase, with a full launch planned for July.
The platform includes secure payment options via UnionBank, GCash, GrabPay, and BPI. It offers a library of casino games, including poker, roulette, blackjack, slots, arcade games, and various movie genres.
Speaking about the launch, Unicapital Securities Research Analyst Jeri R. Alfonso told Manila Bulletin that the platform offers a different product to many rival brands.
“With free games and a movie section, Bloomberry offers some unique features that other platforms don’t. Other platforms feel repetitive. It is basically the same games under different operators. I would say, Bloomberry has a different concept among its peers. There are different layers in the app,” he said.

Still, it faces strong competition from rival entertainment brands, including Travellers International and Digiplus Interactive. Revenue-sharing deals with third-party app developers could also affect its early profits.
