BetMGM to partner with poker player Abby Merk to create content
BetMGM on Wednesday announced a partnership with professional poker player Abby Merk to be a BetMGM Poker ambassador and content partner. Merk will participate in select in-person poker events and create content across various social media platforms.
“Abby Merk’s winning personality and love of poker reflect the type of excitement we are building in the poker community,” BetMGM Chief Marketing Officer Casey Hubris said in a statement. “She is a fantastic addition to our stable of ambassadors and we look for her to build on her strong connection with her audience with her authentic style of storytelling.”
Merk, a 24-year-old Chicago resident recently left her career in finance and started playing poker professionally and posting regular content. In February, she won the Rising Star in Content Creation award at the Global Poker Awards.
Merk plays poker around the world and has more than 100,000 followers across YouTube and Instagram.
“Throughout my time in the poker industry, it has always been my dream to partner with a brand that aligns with my values of honor, integrity and respect while demonstrating a true love of the game,” Merk said in a statement. “I am so proud to announce that I have partnered with BetMGM as a poker ambassador for 2025!
