AI-driven prediction markets debut on Slips betting platform

US-based Slips has launched AI-generated prediction markets that allow users to bet on sports, politics, entertainment, and other events.
The new feature expands Slips’ existing ‘Heads Up’ and ‘Pools’ betting formats by using large language models to automatically generate markets around trending topics. The AI system also audits and resolves outcomes in real time, ensuring fairness and transparency for its markets.
Slips Founder and Chief Executive Jess Richman said, “Prediction markets are the natural evolution of peer-to-peer gaming, and AI is the engine that makes it limitless. By removing the house, empowering our users, and tapping into generative AI, we’re creating the world’s most dynamic, scalable, and social real-money betting experience.”
The company added that the AI-generated markets will soon expand into futures, commodities, and politics, with automated tools that allow tracking, generating, and settling bets.
Founded in 2021, Slips has grown to 150,000 users nationwide, generating more than US$6 million in winnings. The app offers leaderboards, messaging, and other community features to make betting a social experience.
Prediction markets have become increasingly popular in the US in recent years. Earlier in the month, prediction platform Polymarket secured its entry back into the US after the Commodity Futures Trading Commission gave it the green light in a no-action letter.
